Our products
All the products of the Pometti company are born from tradition in complete synergy with innovation and sustainability. Everything tells of our origins and love for the Tuscan territory, unique and inimitable.
OUR WINE
The “vineyard project” began in 1998 when Duccio decided to replant the vines; to date the Pometti estate boasts 11 hectares of vineyards, well positioned under the Tuscan sun, at approximately 350 m. above sea level.
The vines, placed in plots chosen for the composition of the soil, the exposure and the particular dry and ventilated micro-climate – which prevents morning fog and mist – give us, thanks to the great commitment in the vineyard and in the cellar, wines characterized by aromas intense and varietal, with a notable consistency, impenetrable color and a complex, elegant and persistent taste.

THE CELLAR
The modern cellar is made up of two parts: one used for winemaking and the other dedicated to the phases of aging in wood, bottling and storage-refinement of the bottles. All operations take place at controlled temperatures, while the necessary electricity is produced by photovoltaic panels integrated into the roof. The grapes, chosen in the vineyard and harvested by hand, arrive in the cellar to be selected again via a vibrating table; This phase is followed by destemming calibrated according to the size of the grape, specifically designed not to break it. Fermentation takes place in 80 hl truncated cone vats. and carrying out punching by means of a hydraulic piston. This is how tradition meets the most modern technology in the Pometti cellar. Aging is carried out in French tonneaux and barriques and is followed by a long refinement in glass before being put on the market.
